Math-We are continuing to work on division (3 digit by 1 digit) and we have begun to explore fractions on a number line, equivalent fractions and this week we will be connecting decimals to fractions to the tenths place this week but eventually to the thousandths place. What are you wearing today? Qu’est-ce que tu portes aujourd’hui ? Comparer a hier. What are you wearing today, compare to yesterday. Qu’est-ce que ton ami (e) porte aujourd’hui ? what is your friend wearing ? Qu’est-ce que tu portes quand il fait beau ? What do you wear when it is nice out? Qu’est-ce que tu portes quand il fait froid ? What do you wear when it is cold? Math- We are currently working on using objects (base ten) to solve 3 digit by 1 digit division questions. We have also begun to look at Fractions including equivalent fractions and comparing fractions. Along with these newer outcomes we have been continuously reviewing place value (number of the day sheets have gone home and are done in class each week), multiplication (basic facts and 2 digit by 2 digit), mental math multiplication along with estimation for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing {we have been focusing more on the multiplying and dividing estimation strategies}.
