This week has been a bit challenging in terms of demonstrating respect for the classroom and myself. I am hopeful that in the coming weeks before Parent teacher students will make changes for the better. I have been encouraging them to take ownership of their choices and informing them that their choices have consequences (missed opportunities, lunch or recess practice etc.) This week we are continuing to work on Les Aliments with a focus on lunch. This week has been one of ups and downs with behaviours and expectations. We have been working hard on practicing how to transition quietly within the classroom between activities. I am hopeful that in a few more weeks we will not have as many stop/starts during teaching and learning time. On a brighter note this week we will be working on La maison de reve/ my dream house. Students will need to bring in a shoe box or small box for a project related to this unit on Friday October 18th. Questions for the week: Qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans ta maison? What is there in your house? Qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans ta maison de reve? What is there in your dream house? Qu'est-ce que tu aimes le plus a propos de ta maison?
