Happy Friday!
Our classroom is still working on expectations in particular when it comes to speaking when it is not their turn. We have been practicing in class and I am hopeful in the coming weeks this will be a non-issue. Homework- Practice multiplication facts 0-9 nightly either with flash cards, games or online websites. I would also suggest students read for 20 minutes each night. Our questions for this week include: Quel sont tes qualités morales ? What are your personality characteristics? Combien de personnes est-ce qu’il y a dans ta famille éloignée ? How many people are in your extended family? Combien de tantes et oncles as-tu ? How many aunts and uncles do you have? Combien de cousins et cousines as-tu ? How many cousins do you have? Comment s’appelle ta tante/ton oncle/ta cousine/ton cousin ? What is your aunts, uncles, cousins name? If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to reach out to me. Have a great week! Katelyn Pettigrew

Happy Friday!
I am still so pleased with how well everyone is adapting to new routines and our class expectations. I am looking forward to watching your children learn and grow over the next few months. This week's questions: Quand est ta fête? (when is your birthday?) En quelle année scolaire es-tu ? (In what grade are you in?) Peux-tu présenter ton ami (e) ? (Can you present your friend?) Combien de personnes est-ce que tu as dans ta famille proche ? (How many people do you have in your immediate family?) Quel est ton numéro de téléphone ? (what is your telephone number?) * Students will need their binders for Math with Mrs. Goguen so please send them in :) As always if you have questions, comments, or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me via email or by calling the school. Have a great weekend! Katelyn Pettigrew What a great week we are having! I am incredibly please (as I mentioned in my email) with how everyone is adapting to the new routines and expectations for this return to school, I am looking forward to an amazing week ahead :)
This week’s questions: Quel âge as-tu? (How old are you?) Comment t’appelle-il? (What is his name?) Comment t’appelle-elle? (What is her name?) Qu’est-ce que tu as dans ton sac à dos ? (What do you have in your book bag?) Qu’est-ce que tu as dans ta trousse ? (What do you have in your cubby?) The "Les Chansons" page on my website is a good source of review songs to reinforce school learning. We are currently using Les chanson pour commencer l’année (which is at the top of the page). In Math we are currently reviewing place value and how to say our number names. This year I will be teaching Math 3 of the 5 days focusing on the number outcomes. The other 2 days Mrs. Goguen will be teaching the class. If you have any questions comments or concerns, please feel free to let me know! Have a great weekend, Katelyn Pettigrew Above is a quick welcome video! I can’t wait to meet all of you next week. I will post here each Friday about what we will be doing the following week.
