Happy Friday!
This week there is no school October 30 due to a change in professional learning opportunities. As a result, on Thursday October 29th for the last hour of the day we will be having a little Halloween celebration (I will be doing a class photo both and some themed games- bingo, word searches etc) and students are encouraged to wear orange and black and/or wear a crazy hat. Homework- Practice multiplication facts 0-9(via XtraMath or your families preferred method) and read nightly. This week's questions: (We are starting a new unit! What did you eat today for Breakfast? What do you had to eat and drink for breakfast? Thank you for your continued support at home! Katelyn Pettigrew Happy Friday!
I am pleased with how well students are continuing to grow and learn expectations. They are aware of how pleased I am and I wanted to let you, their grownups, know as well. It has been a great week of learning and progress. A reminder I am offering Math help at noon on Wednesday and Friday each week, this is a great opportunity for students who may be having some challenges to check in and get a little extra practice/review. (Are you taller or smaller than your parents ?) (who is the oldest in your family ?) 2)Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans ta maison ? What is there in your house? 3)Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans ta maison de rêve ? What is in your dream home? 4)Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans ta chambre à coucher ? What is in your bedroom? What is in your dream bedroom? Homework: If you could send a small box (shoe box or kleenex boxes work perfect) on Friday October 23 for our art project that would be great! Please have your child log in to our teams site if they have not already done so. Review multiplication facts 0-9 each night (XtraMath sheet was sent home Thursday Oct 15) Have a great week!
