Important information: January 22- ART materials students have been asked to bring in random objects for an art printmaking collage. Items may include: buttons, screws, paperclips, fabric scraps, elastics, bread tags, bubble wrap, yarn etc. January 29th- Students will need a large reuseable bag or two to transport their materials and other belongings to Mrs. Goguen's Classroom in preparation for Monday February 1st. February 1st- First official day of English program with Mrs. Goguen Questions for this week: Qui est ton athlète préféré ? Welcome back :)
This week has been very challenging with the switch back into Orange but the class seems to be adapting well (afternoons are rocky!). I am proud of their ability to adapt so well to these changes as we all know they are not the easiest to make. Important information: This week I will be doing oral language evaluations on students for the last two units we finished just before the Winter break (this is nothing to stress about we have been reviewing the questions continuously). Homework- practicing multiplication facts (0-9) nightly as I am noticing some students struggling with our switch to multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit as they don't have single digits automatically able to recall. A few important notes The Department of education and the district are really pushing for every student to be set up on teams in the even we need to switch to online learning. If you or your child have not logged in please do so as soon as possible or if you are unable to because of no device please let me know asap so I can be sure to send paper work home. The school is also wanting homework and at home assignments to be sent through teams going forward.
