We have been working hard this week on routines and behavior expectations. It has been challenging for some to get back into routines and to be actively listening. I must stress the importance of your child working on active listening as this is an essential component of the program due to the fact that the majority of the program is based on oral language use. It would be helpful if you could remind your child the key to learning and success in French requires a great deal of listening. I would really appreciate any help and support.
Thank you in advance for all that you do! This week we will be moving into presenting our family discussing how many people in our family and giving a brief description of family members. Questions: Combien de personnes as-tu dans ta famille proche? How many people are in your immediate family? Quel couleur sont les cheveux de ton pere/ta mere/tes freres/tes soeurs? What color is your dad, mom, brothers or sisters hair? Est-ce que tes parents sont grands/petits/de taille moyen? Are you parents tall, small or average height? Quel age sont tes freres ou soeurs? How old are your brothers or sisters? Additionally, we will continue to review past phrases from last week and our survival sentences. Have a great week and if you need to contact me please feel free to do so. Katelyn Pettigrew
